Overview
Deseco delivered a heat pump design and retrofit project at a small residential property in Menston, West Yorkshire to replace the existing 30Kw gas boiler. The system comprises a 9 Kw Harnitek air source heat pump, and a 200L domestic hot water storage cylinder with a 28mm coil, integrated with existing radiators.
Solution
We used a low-loss header transfer system to eliminate issues with flow variation. In addition, we installed a 4Kw solar photovoltaic array paired with domestic battery storage for 24/7 clean energy operation.
